Each year in January, the Christian Formation Committee chooses a theme for VB-Us and begins to build a VB-Us team including lecturers, children's teachers, musicians, cooks, kitchen staff, and more. If you would like to help plan VB-Us or serve in one of these roles, please speak to the rector or Christian Formation director.

Dinner & Music

Delicious dinners served by volunteers in Kennerly Hall. No cost; we will accept donations to defray the cost. A short dinner program beginning at 5:30 will include singing together as well as a puppet show or skit.

Lectures

Each night, we will offer a lecture to build on the theme of the year. Lecturers are often professors and other community leaders.

Children's Activities

The children's program includes stories, arts, songs, and playground time. There are separate programs for toddlers/preschoolers, elementary school, and above. On the final night, after Eucharist, the children enjoy a special celebration, often with a waterslide on the church lawn!

Closing Eucharist

On Thursday, we have our family meal followed by special closing Eucharist, The service includes children's songs and artwork, and a message for all ages by Rob Lamborn.
